Event Overview

Step inside one of Chicago’s most iconic architectural landmarks for an evening of celebration, community, and high-spirited fun. Rookery Royale brings our annual holiday party and fundraiser into the historic Rookery Building, a masterpiece of 1888 architecture and the former office of Daniel Burnham during his planning of the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition. Its light court, later redesigned by Frank Lloyd Wright, remains one of the most striking interiors in the city and serves as an unforgettable backdrop for our year-end gathering.

Guests will enjoy professional gaming tables, prizes throughout the night, a silent auction, a raffle, food stations, and an open bar. Why the Rookery?

The Rookery stands at the heart of Chicago’s architectural legacy. Built in 1888, it is considered one of the city’s crown jewels and remains a touchstone for fans of Chicago history and design. Daniel Burnham’s office in the building played a significant role in the planning of the World’s Columbian Exposition, the story featured in The Devil in the White City. The light court’s redesign by Frank Lloyd Wright makes the interior unlike anything else in the city.
